2-18-07 - Sunday - Loving My Hometime!

I havn't written in a few weeks, so I figure I will update the blog this morning. My truck was fixed on Tuesday the 6th and I headed out on a really good trip going east to get some miles on Wednesday. I ran some birdseed to Dallas, TX and then went up to Fayettsville, AR to get another load and took it to St. Louis and relayed it to another driver. I then got a load going back to Denver that delivered a day after I got there.

I have been mostly running between Denver and Whiteriver, CO. I'm home at least 4 nights a week and it's been working out that I'm home every other weekend. Good miles and good pay.

I did have quite the adventure last Wednesday coming back over Vail and Loveland Pass. It was late in the day and there was a ton of snow and ice on the roads. They didn't have the chain law in effect yet, so I ran it as best I could. Really slow and careful!

Other than that, driving for Roehl have been pleasantly uneventful. I have the time at home to get some projects around the house done, and I drive enough to get a good paycheck.
